hello! it's amazing that you're considering becoming a mentor at Career404.

What does it mean to be a "mentor"?

For us

Someone who is passionate in what they're doing.
Someone who doesn't see themselves changing their career and are happy in what they're doing.
Someone who has explored different things to finally settle on their current role because they just LOVE it so much!

For the students

Are friendly, helpful and patient in the session.
Generally students scheduling the sessions would have their own questions, like a QnA.
You don't have to prepare for the sessions, it would mostly be questions around your journey and profession.

For you

Passing on your passion to the ones who might be interested.
Being that special person for someone else who can guide them in their need.
Earning side-income while helping someone in their career.

We ensure all students booking a session are in genuine need and not just wasting your valuable time.

You are available for 30 mins, at least twice a week (when a session is pre-booked).
Generally students scheduling the sessions would have their own questions, like a QnA.
You don't have to prepare for the sessions, it would mostly be questions around your journey and profession.

For you

Passing on your passion to the ones who might be interested.
Being that special person for someone else who can guide them in their need.
We charge all students ₹499 and take ₹99 to maintain the platform. Rest of it goes to you, the mentor.

We charge to ensure the students coming on to the platform are in genuine need, not just wasting your valuable time.

how does it work?

What happens once you become a mentor?

Once you apply

You fill out the form for us to review your profile.
We then interview you to see if you're a good fit.
If you are, we add your profile to the website, along with a short intro about you and your journey (you don't have to provide any content, we do the hard work of pitching you!)
And yes, we do get the content approved by you before making it live.

After you are selected

We provide you a personal calendar in which you can mark the days and time you are available.
You can change it anytime if your schedule changes.
Availability of time slots are generally 30 mins each, at least twice a week.
We setup everything else.
You will get an email whenever someone books a slot with you.

Student-Mentor interaction

If a session is booked, show up on time.
Be respectful of the student or their parent, whoever has booked your time.

We charge a minimal fee but also enough to ensure whoever is booking the session is in genuine need, not just wasting your valuable time.

After the session

We charge all students ₹499 per session, and take ₹99 to maintain the platform. Rest of it goes to you, the mentor.
The payment is made at the end of every month.
Upper limit on the sessions per month will be as many slots you make available to be booked.
